Video's From Previous Projects

This work is from my 'Places' project.

Beautiful Otago from Oliver Lodge on Vimeo.
Footage of mainly the Middlemarch area, with brief glimpses of Wanaka and Tunnel Beach just outside Dunedin.

And this is my work from my 'Objects' project.

Projection Based Project at Olveston House from Oliver Lodge on Vimeo.
A Projection based work looking at objects and memories.

While YouTube and Vimeo are both both video sharing sites, YouTube seems to be suited to a bit of anything, while Vimeo comes across as a library of more accomplished, or professional works.

Some of My Own 3D Images

After buying my 3D monitor I played around with creating 3D images, of my 3D Maya models. Here are some images.

These will only look correct in full screen in 3D mode.

Working With 3D

Recently I have bought myself a passive 3d monitor, which has lead me to want to experiment in 3d. 3D works along along the lines of shooting what you would see with each eye, and when you see a 3D video with 3d switched off, it is simply the view of each eye side by side.

This is a still from the 3d movie  - Puss in Boots

It its simply the left eye on the left and the right eye on the right, and when overlayed with each only seeing their respected image, you have a three dimensional outcome.

Another use of YouTube is for musical covers. groups or individuals playing or singing a song that isn't theirs to promote their ability.
